Racing Gets The Green Light

From our series co-ordinator Steve Burns:

Ferrari North Europe have today announced a revised calendar for which the Pirelli Ferrari formula classic Series will enjoy support race status.  This includes a new date for the forthcoming July race meeting at Brands Hatch (moved to 25th/26th July), and rescheduling of the postponed races at Snetterton and Donington Park.  Festival Italia on 16th August and Silverstone on 19th/20th September remain unchanged. The revised calendar is as follows:
  • 25th July – Brands Hatch Indy
  • 26th July – Brands Hatch GP
  • 16th August – Brands Hatch Indy – Festival Italia
  • 29th/30th August – Donington Park
  • 19th/20th September – Silverstone GP
  • 9th/10th October – Snetterton 300 (note Fri/Sat with PFfc qualifying and racing expected both days)
Certainly the July event will be running behind closed doors with a maximum ticket allocation of 4 per driver (including the driver) and the event will be run strictly in compliance with Motorsport UK and current government COVID-19 policies, so the drivers briefing will consist of pre-event notes, everyone must remain socially distanced in the paddock, wearing appropriate PPE and there will be no podium presentations. We will be opening entries for these events shortly and further details will follow in due course.
